Socket Weld Full Coupling

Our socket weld full coupling is one-piece hot forged straight fitting with double socket weld ends, used to connect two equal-diameter small-bore pipes. Manufactured strictly per ASME B16.11 & MSS SP-79 standards, all sizes keep full nominal dimension without minus tolerance, widely applied for power, chemical, hydraulic and fire protection high-pressure pipelines.

Overview

Socket Weld Full Coupling (承插直通) is a forged double-socket straight pipe fitting, equipped with two identical socket weld ports to connect two same-size pipes end to end, realizing straight pipeline extension.

Integrally hot forged from carbon steel A350 LF2 / A105, stainless steel A182 F304/F316L optional. Thick uniform wall greatly improves pressure bearing capacity. We strictly control OD, ID and wall thickness, guarantee zero minus tolerance without thin-wall cutting corners. Three standard pressure classes: Class3000, Class6000, Class9000 to satisfy various high-pressure working conditions.

Core Key Features

  1. One-piece hot forging integrated forming, high tensile strength and impact resistance
  2. Double equal socket weld ends, convenient butt welding, tight sealing under high pressure
  3. Main raw material: Carbon Steel A350 LF2 / A105; Stainless Steel A182 F304/F316L for corrosive media
  4. Fully comply with international standards ASME B16.11 & MSS SP-79
  5. Complete size coverage: DN6 ~ DN100 (1/8″ ~ 4″)
  6. Zero minus tolerance on all dimensional parameters, full standard nominal size
  7. Smooth inner hole surface, low fluid resistance, no flow dead zone
  8. Full MPI magnetic particle testing & hydrostatic pressure test before shipment, complete MTC material test certificates provided

  6. Standard export wooden case packaging, avoid scratch, rust and deformation during long-distance sea transport

FAQ

Q1: What’s the difference between full coupling and half coupling?

A: Full coupling has two socket weld ends for connecting two pipes; half coupling only has one socket end, the other end is butt-welded or threaded onto main pipe.

Q2: Do your socket weld couplings have minus tolerance on wall thickness?

A: All our forged pipe fittings are strictly manufactured to full nominal standard dimensions. We guarantee zero minus tolerance on outer diameter and wall thickness, we never use thinner raw materials to reduce costs.

Q3: What pressure grades can this straight socket weld coupling bear?

A: We provide three standard pressure classes: Class3000, Class6000, Class9000, fully conforming to ASME B16.11 high-pressure forged fitting standard.

Q4: What is A350 LF2 material used for?

A: A350 LF2 low-temperature carbon steel, suitable for cold area, offshore and low-temperature pipeline projects with good low-temperature impact resistance.
