90 Degree Socket Weld Elbow | Forged Stainless Steel SW Elbow

90 Degree Socket Weld Elbow

Our 90° socket weld elbow is one-piece hot forged pipe fitting with socket weld end, used to turn pipeline flow by 90° in small-bore high-pressure piping. Strictly manufactured following ASME B16.11 standard, all sizes maintain full nominal dimension without minus tolerance, widely applied for instrument, hydraulic, fire protection and anti-corrosion piping systems.

Overview

90° Socket Weld Elbow is a forged pipe fitting with single socket weld connection end, designed to change pipeline direction vertically at 90 degrees for small-diameter high-pressure pipelines.

This elbow is integrally hot forged from stainless steel A182 F304 / F316L, carbon steel A105 as alternative. Uniform thick wall provides outstanding pressure and corrosion resistance. We strictly control all dimensional parameters, guarantee zero minus tolerance on outer diameter and wall thickness, no thin-wall material cutting corners. Available in three standard pressure classes: 3000LB, 6000LB, 9000LB to match diverse high-pressure working environments.

Core Key Features

  1. Integral hot forging molding, high mechanical strength, strong impact and pressure bearing capacity
  2. Socket weld connection design, easy welding construction, stable sealing performance under high pressure
  3. Main raw material: Stainless Steel A182 F304 / F316L; Carbon Steel A105 for non-corrosive pipelines
  4. Fully compliant with international standards ASME B16.11 & MSS SP-79
  5. Complete size coverage: DN6 ~ DN100 (1/8″ ~ 4″)
  6. Zero minus tolerance for OD, ID and wall thickness, full standard nominal size
  7. Smooth inner bore surface, reduces fluid resistance without medium dead zones
  8. Full non-destructive MPI magnetic particle inspection & hydrostatic pressure test before shipment, complete MTC material test certificates provided.

FAQ

Q1: What is the difference between socket weld elbow and butt weld elbow?

A: Socket weld elbow is for small-bore high-pressure pipelines, inserted pipe into the socket for welding; butt weld elbow is for large-diameter heavy industrial pipelines with butt joint welding method.

Q2: Do your socket weld elbows have minus tolerance on wall thickness?

A: All our forged pipe fittings are strictly manufactured to full nominal standard dimensions. We promise zero minus tolerance on outer diameter and wall thickness, we never adopt thinner raw materials to reduce costs.

Q3: What pressure grades can this 90° SW elbow withstand?

A: We provide three standard pressure classes: Class3000, Class6000, Class9000, fully conforming to ASME B16.11 high-pressure forged fitting standard.

Q4: Can you produce carbon steel socket weld elbows?

A: Yes, we supply A105 carbon steel 90° socket weld elbows for non-corrosive medium working conditions.
